Now, re speed scrabble: I was introduced to this very fun version of the game at Christmastime. I thought I heard someone say that it was played incessantly (hey! I just used a vocab word!) at the last G-lock reunion, which I missed. You don't need the scrabble board... just the tiles and you need enough to make sure everybody has the same amount of tiles. Everybody starts with 7 tiles, and the rest are lying face down in the middle. You say, "GO!" and everybody flips over their 7 tiles and starts making their own little scrabble board right in front of them. As soon as someone has used all 7 of their tiles, they yell "GO!" and then everybody takes two more tiles from the middle and then adds to their little board in front of them (you can un-do and re-do your board as much as you want if you get stuck). You keep saying "GO!" and taking two more tiles every time someone uses all their tiles until they're all gone from the middle. The first person to use every last one of their tiles wins that round. Everyone else adds up the points on their leftover tiles.
Whew. It's hard to explain that game on a blog comment. Does it make any sense at all???
Taryn took up all the space. But that is one pretty baby, and one pretty mommy. You guys make pretty pretty posterity.
Congratulations!! What a sweet little baby! (Love the name Skye too!!) Could Shawna look any better for just popping out a kid... She one of those women :)
